On April 16, 2026 I decided that I’m going to write 100 songs in a year. I made this goal for a few reasons:

1. I want to become a better writer. I figured more reps will result in better writing.

2. I want more material in a shorter amount of time. Rather than a handful of finished songs over a couple years I want an albums worth of songs in a year or two.

3. I want to emphasize organizing and ultimately finishing songs. I have tons of ideas and phone memos, but rarely do I see all of them through.

I’m going to post demos of the songs right here as I go through the year. I hope you listen.
